Emergency First Response Primary care (CPR)

 

Emergency First Response Primary care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course exist out of tree elements, knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.

Trough reading the manual and watching the dvd the needed skills and behavior are explained,  each of the skills shall be demonstrated by the instructor and being practiced on a manikin. the skills shall be tested by a theory and practical exam.

Skills taught in this course;

 

  •    Scene assessment

  •    Communicable Disease protection, including barrier use

  •    Primary assessment

  •    Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and rescue breathing

  •    Conscious and unconscious Choking

  •    Serious bleeding management

  •    Shock management

  •    Spinal injury management
